Maintenance
of
polyurethane surfaces

Despite the limited need for service and care, polyurethane surfaces are not completely maintenance-free. They require infrequent but systematic maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs.

Correctly and regularly carried out service and maintenance procedures extend the life of the surface, allow long preservation of the original "fresh" appearance of the surface, and of course, provide users with adequate comfort and safety. Work on maintaining the good condition of a polyurethane surface includes:

• systematic checks of the surface condition for damage, cracks, crumbling granules or holes;
• regular removal of rubbish and dirt (e.g. with an industrial vacuum cleaner) and flushing with water under pressure to get rid of dirt, dust and mineral contaminants;
• thorough care and maintenance 2-3 times a year (in-depth cleaning) consisting of a thorough machine cleaning of the polyurethane surface and then washing with a special chemical agent using a specialized high-pressure device or scrubber.

The sooner we take the appropriate action, the easier and cheaper it will be to restore the pitch to its original condition.
